I saw no reason for my birthdate at the beggining. I was a little confused, why did they tell us that the following sites were not skittles’ web sites? As soon I entered the site, the web page did not seem to be working, but the wrap rainbow hover was. Wow, but after going through some of the buttons, it interested me how the “web site” was built. Now I understand why they gave us the warning at the beggining. I still don’t understand why they asked for my birth date. There was a few minor errors(it was probably the computer I was on), but above all I do think the skittles’ strategy did work. The “site,” I am not sure if it’s a site, was unique and interesting. Hey, I’ll have to give it a try myself.

The first time I visited Zen Garden I had no idea of what it would be. For some reason I thought of a Chinese restaurant. After viewing the page, I realized it was a web site for web pages. Now I look at it for inspiration and what other people are designing.

There’s different web pages you can visit that have different tutorials to help you with your future designs, but there’s nothing like visiting your school library. The library has different resources that can help you. It is also a place to finish up your assignments. While you wait for a computer, you can pick up an HTML book or JavaScript book. Remember to visit your library when ever you feel stuck on a project.

I have gone back and refreshed my memory. I felt I had to start over from when I first began, and that was notepad. I hadn’t realized how different it IS from back then to now. Even though some coding still remains, there’s a lot new codes and programs that exist now to improve your web design. I was going through a few web pages, but there was one I found interesting you can find it in my blog spot. A books that have been helping me a lot also are Head First Web Design” and Mastering CSS with Dreamweaver.”

P.S. I’m beginning to get use to wordpress, but got a long way to go.

Using wordpress.com was a new experience for me. It was different from any blogs I have been through. After the second week of class I should have a better understanding and come confortable to use it.
